TURKSOY CELEBRATES AFGHANISTAN TURKS CULTURE DAY

Today, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, a scientific and applied meeting titled "Afghan Turks Culture Day" was held in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, under the initiative of the Öz Türkistan Culture, Education, Research and Strategy Association, in cooperation with TURKSOY (International Organization of Turkic Culture).

Abdurrahim Masumi, the president of the Öz Türkistan Association, stated in his speech that Turkic communities in the region have preserved their language, traditions, and cultural values ​​with great sacrifice, and emphasized the need to further strengthen cultural unity. He also specifically noted the importance of active participation of Turkic communities in the diaspora in this process.
